Repotting A Golden Pothos. You can easily propagate pothos through division. How to prevent pothos from being pot bound;

Allow the soil to dry out before watering again. You don’t want your plant to be stressed during the process. Golden pothos is easy to propagate.

Treat Root Rot Before Repotting Afresh.
Gently loosen any roots that are circling the root ball (see video below for demonstration); Carefully, remove the plant from its container and replant it in a bigger one. Take the pothos cuttings and remove the first leaf above the cut ends.
Prepare A Fresh Soil Mix;
Water the pothos plant after repotting. Let your golden pothos rest dry for a few days after repotting, then resume a regular watering schedule. Pot size doesn’t matter but i like to keep in in scale with the size of the plant.
Arrange The Pothos Vines Around The Planter;
If you’re growing golden pothos as a houseplant, keep it on the moist side by not allowing the soil to become completely dry between each watering. Place your pothos plant upright in the new pot and add potting mix around the sides to fill in the gaps. Repotting plants is almost like an art form!
